內容：
本港頭號黑社會頭子「八兩金」，因染上鼻煙癌不治
，臨終前交托誼弟「七兩半」（吳孟達飾）安排傳位
給養子「九兩菜」黃九弟（劉德華飾），其實各派都
心裡不服，但又不敢直言。因為八兩金身邊有一位極
出色之保標殺手「阿忠」（郭富城飾），阿忠為人冷
漠，但很忠心，他的槍法可謂「百步穿揚」，所以有
他在，其他人亦不敢亂動。
「九兩菜」回港途中在轉機時碰上與自己一模一樣之
高華（劉德華飾），他倆甚似孖生兄弟，唯一的分別
是「九兩菜」是侏儒。高華正是靚仔一名，但心智卻
停留在十歲中，似一名小孩，正由中國研究員帶往美
國作天才兒童之學術交流研究。機場職員誤把證件給
高華，高華上機飛到香港，從此在誤會中接掌了黑幫
頭子之位。
高華為人溫純，故他掌政之後把所有黑幫生意續漸變
為正當生意去辦。在一次集會中遇上他的夢中情人「
靜香」（關芝琳飾），即引起七兩半的女兒「Veronica」
（吳君如飾）不滿，大發醋意，奈何高華情有獨鍾靜
