| The Three Swordmen (1994)
刀劍笑
Director: Taylor Wong
Starring: Andy
Lau, Brigitte Lin, Elvis Tsui, Yu Li
This is based on the popular Hong Kong manga "Dou Kim Siu" , which
translates literally to: "Sabre, Sword, Smile". Big Knife, Samurai, and
Smiling Sam are three famous martial arts masters from Central China. On
the night before a martial arts competition, someone disguised as Sam
kills a prince.
He is determined to find the real killer, and the true murderer is
supposedly discovered; until it turns out that the entire scam may have
been masterminded by someone else. A cheerful movie with upbeat
background music. Brigitte is actually quite believable as a male.
