| The Tigers (1991)
五虎將之決裂
Director: Eric Tsang
Starring: Andy
Lau, Tony Leung, Ken Tong
Derived from a HK TV show of the mid 1980s, "Five Tigers," this
movie, based loosely on the show marks its 10th anniversary. The five
tigers play five hotshot CID detectives who make the fateful mistake of
pocketing money seized in a drug bust. What starts out as a small
cover-up escalates into a huge scandal, with fatal consequences. The
five are blackmailed by the villains and questioned by internal affairs.
There's good chemistry between Tony and Andy, along with some good
action sequences and serious drama.
