Andy Lau plays a detective for hire,
named Charlie Chan. He is hired by an Insurance company to oversee
security for The Koran, which is to be exhibited in a museum. There are
two parties interested in stealing it. One a sharpshooter played by Tsui
Siu-keung, who wants to steal it for his girlfriend, the other a crafty
thief played by Teddy Robin. Rosamund Kwan plays a mysterious lady, who
keeps turning up.
