| Tricky Brains (1991)
整蠱專家
Director: Wong Jing
Starring: Andy
Lau, Stephen Chou
Stephen Chow is the self-proclaimed
"Handsome Tricky Expert" (emphasis on "Handsome") in this silly but
lovable HK nonsense comedy. Masquerading as a man's long-lost son, he
infiltrates the family and causes his trademark trickery from the
inside. After a good hour or so of said trickery, Chow meets his match
in the self-proclaimed "Ultimate Tricky Expert"! As you can imagine, a
very tricky battle ensues as the two rivals attempt to out-tricky each
other. This is a memorable Stephen Chow film, and Andy Lau is fun to
watch in an atypical, uptight nerd role. Keep an eye out for Stephen
Chow wearing the "I Am Naked" body suit…a real class act. :)
Jung Koo (Chow Sing-Chi) makes his
living as a trickster for hire. Kit (Andy Lau) is a mild-mannered office
worker that gets promoted to manager. Banana (Chingmy Yau) is Kit's
colleague who loves playing tricks on people. She introduces the new
clerk, (the boss's daughter sent to spy on the workers) Lucy (Rosamund
Kwan), to Kit. Kit's father (Ng Man-Tat) learns that she had his child
(Chow Sing-Chi) and raised him. Jung Koo has been hired by business
executive Macky (Waise Lee) to play tricks on Kit and his father, but
mainly to spoil the relationship between Kit and Lucy.
