A reporter with cancer goes to Singapore to report on a case involving a banker accused of illegal stock transactions. There he meets Shun, who is a fugitive suspect and threatened as a hostage. During the fugitive run, Wah learns a lot about life from Shun. When Shun decides to give himself up to the Police, he is accused of murder and Wah takes care of Shun's unfinished business.
